June 2023 Workshops

A virtual community workshop was held Tuesday, June 20, 2023, 6-8 PM, and an in-person community Workshop was held Thursday, June 22, 2023, 6-8 PM at the Oldemeyer Center 986 Hilby Ave, Seaside, CA 93955.

Commission + Council Presentations

City Council Meetings 

On May 18, 2023 an update on the General Plan was presented to Seaside City Council. You can watch the video recording of the presentation here.

The Community Engagement Plan was presented to the Seaside City Council on March 17, 2016. The presentation can be found by clicking here.

 

Planning Commission Meetings

On June 21, 2023 Planning Commission received and update and overview of the General Plan and Housing Element watch the video recording of the meeting here.

In August 2017, Planning Commission meet to discuss the draft Housing Element of the General Plan.

Joint Planning Commission / City Council Meetings

On March 30th, 2017, a special joint City Council and Planning Commission meeting was held to confirm the vision and intent for City subareas, including proposed land use designations, and proposed circulation networks.

 

On October 27, 2016, Planning Commission and City Council provided input on the preliminary draft Vision and Guiding Principles and areas where development and land use change could occur within the City over the next 20 to 30 years.

General Plan Task Force

The General Plan Task Force consists of approximately 20 members who will provide feedback and guidance in informing the development of the General Plan vision, policies, and implementing actions. The Task Force members represent a diverse range of interest groups within the City. As meetings occur, the information will be posted above.
